Q: What would be the result of using the correct cx200xre filter in my cs200 filter assembly after the pool company cut the filter diffuser to fit a cx150xre. They insist that it will work the same. The Cxfda200 is what is required for my application. When they cut the original diffuser, they basically made it into a cxfda150. Will this damage my equipment if I continue to use it until I get the correct diffuser?

Hi, it should still work fine. The pipe is collecting the filtered water, and the top of the element is closed by the lid.

It is not. You will need the CXFDA150 for a C150S filter.
