Cynthia Burns joins Hayward after serving in several Human Resources and Talent Management roles and as a Chief Diversity Officer
 

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – September 6, 2022 -- Hayward Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: HAYW) (“Hayward” or the “Company”), a global designer, manufacturer, and marketer of a broad portfolio of pool equipment and technology, announced today the appointment of Cynthia Burns as Vice President of Talent Management.

Burns will serve as part of the global Human Resources team, where she will be responsible for building Hayward’s global talent and management infrastructure. In addition, she will oversee the creation of the talent management strategy, leadership development, performance management, organizational learning and other key human resources functions.

Prior to joining the Hayward team, Burns most recently served as the Global Head of Talent Strategy at Vanguard, where she was previously the Head of HR and the Strategic Business Partner for the Investment Management Group. Prior to joining Vanguard, Burns was the Head of Talent Management and Chief Diversity Officer at PPL, where she was also previously the Director of Corporate HR

She also has experience as a Senior HR Consultant for Willis Towers Watson and for CherryRoad Consulting, and spent nearly a decade as an IT leader at XL Capital where she implemented and led a five-year technology roadmap to globalize the human resources functions. Additionally, Burns has Finance experience and has worked as an accounting manager at Fenner Drives and as a financial analyst for IBM.

Burns earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the State University of New York at Oswego and has earned several professional certifications in Human Resources and IT disciplines. She is a Senior Certified HR Professional from the Society for Human Resource Management.
